Freeagent Limo
« on: February 24, 2016, 02:57 PM »
I got this off Ben just after xmas... he offered it to Rich Devilcock in a wanted thread who knocked it back so i stepped in.  :)
1990 Freeagent Limo possibly GT made frameset. It's not original paint so I'll probably have a play with it eventually. I do like it as it is though and what with other stuff going on that's the way it will stay for now.  :)

I've got plenty of old and mid school bits lying round doing nothing and other bits waiting for other builds to progress so thought why not sling em on this for now.  :daumenhoch:

Just waiting for some tyres to arrive and a wheelset that's getting trued at the lbs so should have it built at by the weekend. Will update as and when.  :daumenhoch:

Put some bits on it tonight. Tyres arrived today and I'm picking the wheels up tomorrow .  :daumenhoch:

Tried the GT bars on it but looked way too big so fitted the Slams instead.   :)

What's the difference between a Limo and Pro, rear end and TT length?

What's the difference between a Limo and Pro, rear end and TT length?

Pro tt length is 19.75", limo is 21"

Rear end is 14.25-15.25 on my pro, I think it's 14.5-15.5 on the limo, it ain't much longer at the back than a pro, just the longer tt and the same bb height and same steep head angle.

It looked a bit bland as the frame only but looks proper built up

Yeah the TNT woulda been similar if I'd have got round to building it Ed... but with a bit of pink thrown in.  :slayer:

Already thinking about what colour I'm gonna do this... maybe orange with black bits.
