ACF Howell in Walsall. Ask for Mark.

As Carl said, Leigh metal polishers are spot on. I take all my stuff there  :)

Are there any examples of there work as im not too far from Wembley? I need some rims, hubs and a couple pairs of cranks chroming but im scared of the over  polishing stories ive read from various chromers.

Here is a nos chainwheel and spider he did for me...notice how crisp the stamps are. Just specify what you want, but he knows what he is doing as he does stuff for me ( I am mega fussy) and another one of his mates who is more anal than me .

I've used Allenchrome after a recommendation on here before. Brilliant service, great communication (a guy called Dave if I recall) and spot on result IMHO.

I had some Boss cruiser bars done last year that came on a Curtis. Before and after pics below.

Hi guys, just a quick one. Does anyone know what the average cost would be to have a frame and fork re chromed. I have looked through the threads but it seems to vary a lot. Also any recommendations in West Sussex? I just need to look at budget before I take on another project.

cost wise, anywhere between £150-£300 to get a frame & forks done. Hopefully someone can recommend a good chromer in your area

...and yes, Allenchrome in Pocklington near York are excellent. They sorted out my VDC changa a treat. Expensive, but you do get what you pay for. Excellent communication and fast turnaround time. Ask for Dave  :4_17_5:

My changa was £300 for the frame only, but it did need quite a bit of tlc.... The Hutch you have was about £180 for the frame/forks (but they were mint), and i got it a bit cheaper as Leigh metal polishers did a big load of my parts in one go, the Hutch being part of it

Try this. A little further than E17, but still in London.

When I was born, the world was a far simpler place.
It was all just cops and robbers.
And BMX.
