Helmet restoration
« on: February 06, 2016, 02:15 PM »
:LolLolLolLol: bring on the knob gags!!  :bellend:

Found my old race lid (82 echo full face) in my folks loft last weekend, it's a bit grotty from knackered old decals and such but basically in pretty good nick. wondering if anyone has some tips on cleaning it up and giving a bit of a restore?

Cheers,

Neil

Try some T cut, it may take a while on the old decals but avoids using solvents....

If Bob is keen to see your helmet he may polish it for you. Does it change colour when you polish it.
If in doubt flat out.

Try and keep the old decals, they got history.  :)
