Skyway Factory Visit
« on: February 04, 2016, 09:43 PM »
So in September last year myself and Redline John packed our bikes and took a long overdue trip to California. After spending a few days riding around S.F. and sessioning it's two concrete skateparks we headed up to Redding for a tour of the Skyway facility. We met up with our 'connection' Tommy who'd arranged the visit and drove to an industrial estate on the outskirts of town. Here's some of the photos...

Surprised to find this there too..

Cool pics. We need to get to the bottom of that Firebird story!
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Excellent! The last time I was in California was Feb 2009, 5 months before I got back into BMX. I'd defo take a trip to Redding if I went back. Would also go to the E.T house too  :)

Went to SF Ash, but work related so just had a couple of days spare. No visit to the Skyway factory which would have been cool, but was very kindly shown the sights by Maurice Meyer. Was easily one of the best weekends of my life - amazing place and Drob is a very rad individual  :daumenhoch:
