Okay so I've been really struggling to find nos or minty parts for my latest build.
Finding good anodised stuff is getting harder and harder to find.

I'm particularly struggling to get a headset right now so I was thinking if you could go back in time and were allowed to bring back one NOS part what would you choose ?

Completes aren't allowed or f and f! ( far too easy!  :LolLolLolLol: )

What parts have you found really hard to get on your last or latest builds?

What would you get ?
Is it rarity or costs that dictate your choice ?

Just a bit of fun.... ;D

If i'm allowed, I'd pick some Bottema freestyle forks, but if I can't have them,  i'd pick up a set of 401's, just for the allen keys!!

Some great replies dudes so far ... I guessed there would be a lot of tyres and grips but people haven't always gone for the obvious choices :daumenhoch:

Ash I'm surprised by this mate but I've been looking for several Haro pads for years unsuccessfully so I totally get the rarity of these babies.

I'm going to plump for a gold Hadley bottom bracket ..... It is one of several rocking horse parts that makes a Bob Haro replica incredibly hard to complete.
I've only ever seen one for sale and that was in chrome!
I think it was Rich Devilock's.

I would love some of the Campagnolo BMX pedals. Very similar to the road bike pedals but with a cage that goes all the way round the axle.

I know you said no completes but I am still yet to see a single Pedler Mudcruncher which I had bitd. I know Phil Sawzall has been searching for one for ages as well.

Sensibly-priced round-logo stamped '83 GT-Pro bars. Nothing special, I just loved them and had a set BITD :smitten:

I'd tell myself to buy shares in Microsoft and Facebook while I was there of course :2funny:

For sentimental reasons my old race wheels: White 7L on white GT racelace :smitten:
For financial reasons: A box full of Elina Lightning Bolts
For 'I can't find it for my build' reasons: Red GT seat and tyres :coolsmiley:

I'd just make sure I kept my old bikes instead of giving them away.

Favourite part of mine I bought were my black Z-rims and ACS hubs. If it had to be a part I'd probably get me some of them.
Gertcha!
