Redline PL-20 Build moves on
« on: September 06, 2006, 11:50 AM »
Well the frame and forks and the wheels arrived from the states.

Here is a first pic (from mobile).

Redline PL-20 frame and forks

Red NOS Ukai Speedlines

Red NOS GT Epoch headset

Red NOS MX900s

Whitewall tyres (to be replaced by NOS black Comp IIIs)

Just waiting for the flights to come back from the chromers, stem and seat post. Rest is waiting in the wings to be put on.

Pic really does it no justice. Will post better ones later.

Well the stickers came this morning!

This is how she started this morning

Then she got naked!

Then she got her new togs on!

ok so the bars and stem is wrong. New ones on their way.
Also waiting for Flight crank arms to get back from chromers. The tyres are sorted and so is the seat post.
All I need now is the suntour seat clamp and I have everthing. She should be complete by the end of the month.

they are in southend and they are called Hockley something or other, will dig the number out for you.

They take 5-6 weeks though.  :-[

they are a big place and have done a few bike things before also do a lot of show chrome for cars.  :daumenhoch:

superb build so far Jim - speaking as a bit of a redline perv myself,

may i suggest a DCMX seatpost clamp rather than the suntour - just to make it correct. I know very anal and sad!

Looking good though
