Picked up a set of these with the pedals still on and the insert is spinning with pedals when you try to remove said pedals. Whats the best way to get them off. I've done one before but it was a messy affair!! :tickedoff: ;D

Is it a single piece steel insert? I would probably go along the route of taking the pedal off with the insert attatched and then clamp the insert in a vice around the edge and try and undo it that way. Also leave it soaking in WD40 or similar for 24 hours.
