Yeah I used to ride Miles Platting a lot. On my bike and board. The ramps were designed by Andy Preston's dad and were a tight 8 foot transition at best. They had a gritty/grippy type painted surface on 'em. The curved trick ramps were fun to ride. The track with concrete berms was bobbins! Did you ever ride the super-smooth concete 1/4 on the other side of Oldham Road? It was about 25 foot wide. Once you'd swept away all the broken glass it was great even if you had to keep looking over your shoulder for the dodgy locals..
