« on: December 17, 2015, 05:26 PM »
Was under the impression this is early 90s?
Its not late 80s is it?

Just want to make sure i can get all the right era parts for it.

Ive had the alex and suzue wheels for bloody ages , and thought they would be good for it .. But then i started thinking is it 80s?
I bought the wheels off jts smooth years ago !!
They are a odd pairing but pretty sick for racing .

I've been planning a Boss project for a while now, though am looking at the earlier, Carlo Lucia-made frames from the early to late-80s. I'm no expert but this looks like an early to mid-90s one to me. In any case, they're great-looking frames, so am looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Good luck with the build! :daumenhoch:

I bought it off Spartacus I think on bmxmuseum about 4 1/2 years ago.I sold it about 3
years ago to someone on here ,cant think who now.Theyre really nice framesets but it was
way to long for me with the 22 inch toptube and the geometry. You can get the
replacement decal sets now which I couldn't find when I had it,think its ultrahive who
does them.

Managed to build it, by not spending a lot tbh.

Dannys cranks came up for a good price  & gish gt stem.

ED sorted me out with a spare izumi links.

Jobs a good un...

I may swap the seat at some point , for a more racey one , but apart from that , its bits i had already so not a expensive bike.. :daumenhoch:

Very good indeed. I like a lot of the small touches on this frame, the brake bridge, dropouts, even the decals look pretty stylish. I'd have a bash on it anytime. What crank length and gearing have you gone for?

Excellent, I'm a long time 43-er and I bought my first ever set of 180's last year. They're on my track-rider. Good combo.
