Skyway tuffs on a Raleigh Burner
« on: December 13, 2015, 08:08 PM »
Hi
I,ve just bought a very nice restored Burner with its orginal Raleigh mags fitted, can i fit Skyway tuffs as a direct replacement?
I,am worried about the rear hub/cog etc and even the threads,or is it a direct replacement?

Many thanks,i know very little about the BMX scene but have always admired them and didn,t have one in my youth...
I bought mine last week and had it delivered in person from the seller, its in lovely condition and the colour scene i wanted(not for the purists i,am afraid)but has been made to look like a freestyle bike which i like.
I would like a few parts and will list a wanted list.
Hope you can help me!

Most tuffs should fit....what year and colour is the Burner? get a Site Supporters tag and you can look for parts in the for sale section  :daumenhoch:

Burners always look good on Skyways. Should get a re-issue set from ebay for about £60. You may need to then purchase a Skyway Front flat axle so it slots into the dropouts easier.  :daumenhoch:
