« on: November 11, 2015, 07:45 PM »
I bought some stuff from the USA on e-bay and it was sent USPS tracked.its now showing
that it was delivered Monday at 11.18 but I've had no parcel and no card through
the letterbox.amyone know who USPS would use as a carrier once the package
is over here ?

Parcelforce usually , try putting in your USPS tracking number in parcelforces website and see if it comes up.
It also might mean you have customs charges to pay. I wouldn't worry too much I have had stacks of stuff sent from the us with USPS and there has never been a problem. On a couple of occasions the tracking number has come up with attempted delivery when it hasn't and it normally means customs have it and are getting round to sending you a letter, which is normally pretty quick  :daumenhoch:

If parcelforce have attempted delivery and there was no one in they tend to leave the parcel at the local post office. Not your main royal mail collection depot. They have marked mine as delivered before when it's gone to the local one because for them, it has been delivered. Try there.

I've had a couple of parcels from the states in the last coupla days. Both items stated they'd been delivered 3 or 4 days before they actually was.  ???

I wouldn't worry too much just yet.  :daumenhoch:

My lad had some stuff from the states.  Tracking said delivered but nothing, 2 weeks later he got a letter from the Post Office saying it was at the main office and he had to pay custom charges.
