suggestions for a heavy duty rim
« on: October 10, 2015, 02:22 AM »
hi new to the forum
im restoring my bmx but with a difrence its got a 1000w rear hub motor on it iv had it runing for a bit but had some problems
first problem i had was the lithum battery (in a back pack) keept poping cells which when going down the road at 35 mph is not fun no mater how fast you can stop and get it of your back. iv solved this one with a much beter battery
the 2nd problem is iv already warn out one rim and im looking for some sort of triple wall crome jobby not botherd about weight just want somethink solid. it would also be good to try and get some magura hydraulic rim brakes on it.
any idears
thanks dylan

I'd put a disc brake on it too...
