Hello!
« on: October 07, 2015, 06:48 PM »
Well what can I say....

I have been away from the scene for a while, in fact about 30 years!!!  I have always carried the fond memories of the 80's I did purchase a Haro freestyler in 1992 but soon had to sell it as my mortgage interest rate spiralled out of control!!!

Anyway I'm Peter from North London and spent most of my youth on my BMX started with a Tuff Burner (3 months) then on to a Nickel plated Super Goose, Race inc,Torker, 3 Quadangles (2 white and 1 SE blue),Kuwahara I could go on a bit but safe to say I was bitten big style.

Regular hang outs where Talacre (Camden town), Rom and the south bank although most days I would drive the neighbours mad on my ramp in the back garden. The best 6 years of my life I recon.

I'm looking (as I'm sure are many) for a Quad Angle ion SE Blue either a re issue model ( preferred) missed out on those a couple of years back although my son got a LiL Ripper out of that search! or an original. I'm sure the later will be almost impossible to obtain at any price. My budget would most likely not stretch to that anyway. The re issue would be great as I do want to ride again. Going to spend some time trawling through the pages here looking forward to that.

Cheers Peter

I would not buy a remake personally definatly not straight away. If you keep an eye on the for sale section on here you might see something proper oldschool that takes your fancy and if you are patient you can normally pick one up just as cheap as those remakes. ;)
If in doubt flat out.

Welcome to RAD. Although from the north west, I've had the odd roll around the old Cantelowes Gardens skatepark, and Meanwhile Gardens by Trellick Tower  :daumenhoch:
