Long story short, I've been offered 2ND dib dobs on one of the freestyle ones.
Fella told me only 2 were made & bloke called Steve owned the other.
No reason to doubt what he's saying but seeing as I remembered those from mk I thought I'd do some digging 😁

I can't say about the middle one, there may have only been 2 made. Nick or Griff could possibly contact Brian for you, to confirm.

As for the top one, there were a few of these made, Kappy had a couple, if I remember rightly.  :daumenhoch:

It's like the middle one, without foot standers though. I'll see if I get as far as buying before I bother Brian 😁

no idea on these particular frames, but I know that there has been a lot of talk generally about stuff that's Curtis (but not necessarily made by Brian)

Apart from stuff he built himself, there are other Curtis frames made under licence by Rickman (these will have different serials - longer number neatly stamped, all Brian's were hand stamped and will have a shorter number)
Then there are the PR Radcing ones that get confused with Curtis - fook knows who made those but maybe someone can confirm

That's the nub of the problem Griff, made by Brian, someone that worked for Brian or some other related dude have a bearing on it's value. The only way to know for sure is asking him. He sounds like an amiable young fella & I'll ask if it goes that far 👍

only a handful of the middle one in existence, made around 86 from memory and each one I have seen has had small differences. The PR freestyle frames are also similar so make sure it is not a Curtis stickered one of those.

well, the one in the middle was mine, there was another owned by a chap in Kent without forks, one in Freestyle BMX mag that is slightly different and at least one other has been on ebay in the last 10 years.

Who says there are only 2 then?

This was mine and was definitely made by Brian. He confirmed the serial number and 2 centre punch marks on the bb shell personally, when I took it round to show him. The forks do match the frame, they may not have been original to the frame but were prototypes made by Brian back in the 80's and he said they would have been the same as what he would have used back then, with no standers as the frame didn't have any.
