Advice on bottom bracket

Be gentle , I'm learning ;-)
I need to buy a new bottom bracket bearing set for my gt fueler 1995.
When I look at options it offers 19mm or 22mm .
I've measured the threaded part of my 1 piece crank and its 22mm outer diameter .
Also I note from my model its a USA size bb.
Does this mean I need a 22mm size bearing set ?? (I realise I need the USA option )
Seem to be more 19mm on offer ...
Don't want to buy the wrong one 😉

Sounds like your looking at 3 piece crank bottom brackets and you have a 1 piece crank

What does the 19/ 22mm denote on the descriptions online ?
Is is the diam of the threaded part of the crank ?

it refers to the diameter of the axle. Most 3 piece cranks use either a 19mm or 22mm sliding axle.
There are some exceptions. There are 20mm, 24mm and some imperial sizes like 7/8 and 1 inch.
Pop up a pic of what you have.

Yes sorry One Piece Crank 

Any bottom bracket that states One Piece Crank will fit. As for sealed, yes they are better but only to a point, depends how hard you're going to ride it. Tange/tioga ones are probably the best value for money

I guessed that from his 1st post, It sounds like he his looking at bottom brackets for 3 piece cranks, Thats where the 19mm and 22mm came in.
Bearing sizes are not normally quoted on OPC bottom brackets.

One piece cranks usually quote the thread size like 24tp than the bearing /axle size often quoted on three piece cranks.

Good on you sticking a one piece on. I do like a good old redline flight but all that spacer and alignment bollox  I'm having a break from that!!!!
