GT Performer or not
« on: September 03, 2006, 03:37 PM »
Hopefully someone can help me ID this GT, Im not sure if it actually is a GT Performer or a 88 or 89 GT vertigo. Im sure all Performers (even the later single bend downtube ones) had holes in the dropouts. I've found a pic in bmxmuseum that shows a Performer with these dropouts but I'd like to know for sure.
Anyway here are some pics, the serial number is stamped on the BB and is DS80314880 (if it helps). So what is it?

It looks like an 86/87 (ish) Vertigo but dont quote me on that ;) I cant find any pics of any.
The forks dont look right for any Performer/Freestyle

A nice looking frame though :)

I'm going with a Vertigo then. I'll throw on some parts and use it to ride to the shops!
