i guys I have a set of black tuff that I need to remove brake rub from can anyone advise what to use so as not to damage rims thanks in advance
build what u want if u like it then thats all that matters

i,ve always used bar keepers friend which has worked really well for me. you can buy it in asda.

i used the powder, it turns into a paste on a damp cloth and the brake rub took very little effort to come off.

I use a stanley blade laid at an angle to the rim and spin the wheel, obviously still fitted to the bike, lol.

Another thing you may not know Guys, the stamping on the rim 'SKYWAY PATNo.0000000' does not disappear. It is merely filled when the brake pads rub over it so, if you know where it is located, you can carefully dig out the brake pad residue with a stanley blade, or other small sharp object  :daumenhoch:
