Frame and forks Id
« on: September 28, 2015, 09:35 PM »
Hi all, my first post, great to see so many nice bikes and great enthusiasm for them on this site!  To cut a long story short, I'm trying to restore my old bike which has been sitting around for quite a few years, the only problem is when I got the frame of a friend of a friend of a friend, 15 years ago and never knew what it was then, wasn't to bothered as it was strong with decent dropouts!  Anyway as I'm trying to restore the old bike I thought it prudent to find out what frame it is at long last.
The only rumour!!!! At the time was that it was a snafu prototype frame, but who knows? I've been out of touch with bmx for the last few years and things/bikes/parts change pretty fast.
Anyway any help with id would be greatly received, many thanks Pasty

Not a clue what that is Pasty!  ???
Looks a decent quality frame though....looks a bit like jay mirons prototype Hoffman frame but with a smaller gusset.
Hope someone can shed some light for you  :daumenhoch:

Looks familiar for some reason. That may be a Shauff (I think that's how you spell it) frame.
Do you grovel to your master? Do you beg like a dog?

Spot on dannywhac and fugazi! Finally got to the bottom of that! Thanks for your knowledge,
Anyway I'm trying to build it back up, I'm having my 20 year old g-sport hub built into new rims, tidying up the primo power bites and re- using the trusty exposure ox bars, purchased of northern John in 1996 for £10, second hand then. Thanks for your help, any thoughts on powder coat colours greatly received.
Regards pasty
