RAD Generosity at it's best!
« on: September 03, 2015, 07:05 PM »
So MK Raffle gets drawn and Steve Animal wins one of the new school FBM bikes, he then gives it to Jaymz's lad Junior who'd worked really hard all weekend doing bits n bobs.

Now i'd had my eye on one of these (not for me i hasten to add but i will come onto that in a mo) normally if our tickets come out we just say pick again, we always buy tickets but it's to support the event more than anything else.

Anyway i had my eye on one for a family who live opposite to me, they have three girls who love bikes and are always riding up and down the road playing but they only have two bikes and they're not great either......so if i'd won one i was going to give it to them.

Anyway Jay was pretty overwhelmed by Steves generosity but then wondered how the hell he was going to fit it in the car?? Junior had been trying to sell his Haro race bike all weekend but unfortunately hadn't managed it, so Jay said to repay the generosity from Steve and find someone to give the Haro to, well i asked if he wouldn't mind if I gave it to the family over the road from me? and Jay and more importantly, Junior agreed!

Well i gave it a good clean up and a service then added a few new pink bits to girlie it up a little.......I'm just waiting on a new seat post to arrive and it'll be finished.

I asked their dad if he would like it and he was speachless!!  he said that his eldest girl will love it and their bikes are too small for her.....he couldn't believe that we as a site would be so generous.

So here it is so far..........HUGE thanks to Jaymz and to Junior  :4_17_5:

I have felt the rad love before, a mate died and left his son lost, so with some rad love we got him a new bike, he was blown away and more than anything it put a smile on my mates mum and dads face.

Long live rad

Are they in need of another one Rob? I have a 2000s Kuwie race bike that I will never finish ... we could get it built with a few donations  :daumenhoch:

Top bombing by three of the best; kudos to Animal, Jaymz and Pickle.  Like Quad I too have felt the Rad love for my late sisters son, my nephew whose bike got stolen and the lads chipped to replace, he still has it today!

One of the reasons why I love this site; the people!
