I'm sure this has been covered before and discussed in previous threads, but which person or persons actually started RAD, and are any of them still involved/active on the site? On the way back home from MK, myself, Ant (factory pilot, and Paul (paulb113) were discussing various things about the weekend. During the prize giving/raffle, myself and Ant were stood next to the guys making the announcements. We knew Rob (pickle) and Nick (gashead) who were also stood in the vicinity, but i'm a bit embarrased

to say that we didn't know the guy in the check shirt announcing stuff, and the other guy reading out the raffle ticket numbers. Could mods/admin post up a photo of themselves with their name/username so myself and others can put names to faces? Thanks to everyone involved in running RAD, and making MK15 the best ever in my view

It is actually a really good question though and it must have been a funny conversation with a few pints involved I'll bet.... "I know, let's start a website for daft middle aged men to ride about on kids bikes" kinda thing.......

I was easy to spot, I was working behind the bar most of Saturday night, registering everyone (along with Rob Pickle and Bob Acid) in the show and shine and have STIDDS - ADMIN on the back of my T-Shirts.

who was the person that actually got on the computer one day and actually made RAD? $:-\$ Is there a specific member that owns the site today? $:-\$

It goes something like this, BITD a whole lot of us were on vintagebmx and basically took over a thread and threatened to overwhelm the site with our 'British Humour', and then one day 95% of the UK guys were banned for no reason other than Vintagebmx really couldn't cope with us.

So Billy Stupple (Billstup), Dave Giller (RomBloke) and Oliver Barrett (ORB) started a little site called radbmx. On this site with very humble beginnings, you then had moderators appear, like Harris, Dordy, Dingo, Lazychubs etc.

Over the years the site morphed into what you see today and the founding fathers status are for those orginal guys that are still on the site but are not expected to moderate or play a part in the running of the site.

The current layout of the site is this:

Gashead & Waxintaxin - Site Owners, like the sith lords from Star Wars, they are from the dark side and rule with an iron fist

Stidds, Pickle, Bob Acid - Admin - We are the Dark Jedi and do our lords dark dealings.

Benno, Brummie, Dannywhac, ED209, griff, in2bmx, Jaymz, Poolysherrif - Team Moderators - These are the Storm Troopers and if you piss them off they will kick your ass.... basically these guys do most of the work on site

Now you know as much (if not more) than we do.

I never knew Ed was a stormtrooper (more like Jaja Binks I'd say) but I was suspicious you all had some evil twisted master with a planet - sized space station to do his bidding so at least that's cleared up now.......... $:-\$
