Redline Mk111
« on: August 21, 2015, 11:32 PM »
Hi folks

I'm after a bit of advice, I've got a redline mk111 that I've had from new being a kid in 82 I'd guess. Proper one owner machine. I'd like to know if there's anywhere good Manchester (Wigan) way to get have it striped and resprayed?

Any help would be great.

Have you got any photo's?  :-\ If possible (depending on condition) keep it original finish.  :daumenhoch:

Sorry I don't know of any place's in Manchester. Someone will though. Or just send it to SBD in London.  :)

If it's chrome take it to Leigh Metal Polishers in Swinton, see a bloke called John... costs about £30 to strip a f&f.   :daumenhoch:

If it's painted send it to Superbikedan (^^^SBD^^^)... he can strip it and powder coat it in one hit. He the business mate.   ;)

Whack some photo's up before you touch it  :daumenhoch:

Original finish is the way to go if it's not too fooked.

Most on here would kill to have their original bike from BITD. They are only original once  :daumenhoch:

I'll dig it out tomorrow & take some pics, it's had an hard life to be fair. It did have red Z rims on it that I just killed as a kid so swapped them with a lad for some tuff 2's. I regret that now I kid you not.
