As it was nice and sunny Saturday, and the other was at work I thought i'd have a play.
Everything got soaked in hot soapy water, washed and thats it, no polishing or owt strenuous here.....

Cleaned up very nicely!

Edit:

Looks like a Tioga Rhino but without the folds in the top tube...

Not a scorcher either, they are more like a burner geometry wise.

This is more like the Rhino geometry wise.

The welds are lovely on this too  :daumenhoch:

I like how you started clean & worked backwards to the survivor look...You've even opted for flat tyres...nice attention to detail.

Lugged all the bits round me other halfs this weekend, but forgot to take the matching Spencer rim for the rear  ::)

So apart from the rear wheel, it's turned out alright  :daumenhoch:

In the 80's my cousin had a bike like that. I recognise the head tube gusset. It was called a Spitfire (I think) and I have never seen another since. Was also chrome and blue. In not saying that definitely what it is, but it certainly reminds me of that bike.

I used to have one of these - can't remember for the life of me what it was, but it would either have come out of my mom's catalogue, or from Hawk in Cradley Heath as we lived local.  First thing i did was stick Kuwahara stickers on it......

Managed to get the original front rim built into the rear wheel, so now has matching Spencer rims.

Brakes set up correctly, quick spin up the road and it rides great  :daumenhoch:

As it stands, it's finished for MK at least  :coolsmiley:
