I've always loved the early monoshock bikes as i think they represent a time in BMX when innovators were still trying to utilise motor cross tech designs into BMX bikes.

Here is my very low serial number (1***) reverse dropout, twin shock mount Matthews MS-1...:-)

It is built up using :

Frame - Matthews MS-1
Forks - 1976 Astabula (out of the bag)
Wheels - Rovan Industries Morris Mags
Chainring - Three Arrows
Crank - '76 Ashtabula (out of the bag)
Pedals - MKS BM-1
Seat Clamp - Schwinn
Seat - Mesinger
Headset - Tange MotoCross
Stem - Matthews Doubleclamp
Bars - Matthews
Grips - Oury (ribbed versions)
