GT Pro Elite XL - survivor build
« on: July 05, 2015, 01:46 PM »
Picked this up today.  :)

Not really a build... just need to change a few bits around. All original parts except the wheels, tyres, stem, brakeset and grips. This could be the closest I'll ever get to a factory spec build.  8)

Should be done for the MK.  :daumenhoch:

I'm sure it'd come up a treat apart from it looks like someone's had a blow torch on the top tube  (nothing major like). The bars and pedals have seen better days though so survivor it'll have to be....... for now.  ;D

Been having a tough time in recent months and been doing a lot of thinking this last week about the more important things in life than bmx . Come to the conclusion that a few things have to go and this f&f is one of them sadly.  :(
Got a couple of builds i wanna get finished (my GT pro nora mainly) before i take anything else on so. It's a shame cos I've wanted one of these for a while now too but needs must I'm afraid.  :-\

Right then after having a wobble a while back i managed to hang on to this and some other stuff i planned to shift.
Was just in need of a wheelset which popped up on here the other week.  I'll put it together and get some pics in the next week or two.  :daumenhoch:

Slick Rick.  :daumenhoch:

As a side note, i watched a "zany" programme on tv today centered on ainsley harriott's attempts to widen the diet of len goodman. They were in manchester visiting various food vendors, one of which was a bakery. A pleasant young lass demonstrated the concept and construction of a manchester tart, as pictured in your avatar, with the addition of some coconut flakes. Tenuous i'm sure you'll agree but it reminded me o'thee.
