No mate, les still has it, Jane grabbed a pic for me, cos I couldnt remember exactly what it looked like.

how retro cool is that though, the patches on their own are worth a small fortune.......

Thanks for the pic Jane

Thanks  for posting the pic.It such a classic. The patches are priceless. My dad wants me to sell it but I CAN'T PART WITH IT!!! Its screwed up in a black bag which is shocking. I need to frame it.Its a part of English BMX history.Would love to take it to a reunion meet and wear it!
Its covered on the back too. I will make a note of what the patches are if anyones interested in taking a trip down memory lane.
The hotshot and redline team all had silk jackets made which we still have.Lars sexton met up with us the other day and he was 5 years old when he had his.He brought it with him and he looked funny standing at our front door a grown man holding his tiny redline jacket.
I laughed when I saw the pic posted with dad in the background...Busted!

Pontins 84 awards bash This is the silk Hotshot coat Jane refers too
I remember not wanting to take it off for a week.
My mother drew the line when i wanted to wear it to school.
The Hotshot team where always extremely well kitted out as i remember
a credit to the Windle family's dedication to the sport.
The bike was just a prop by the way!!!

Man what a piece of history

Keep the coat or sell it to someone who will show it , its getting to the point when that coat should be in a museum, it deserves a frame and photos and writing detailing its history

If you are going to sell it , please , please please make sure it goes to one of us

Rich :)
