Nowt to do with business just personal reasons for Dave i believe, as he stated......once it wasn't fun anymore it was time to pull the plug, i believe he is looking to do something else within BMX but no idea what that might be.

I wish him all the best though as the RAD shop was a great place with great service and a superb vibe, High Wycombe has lost a big supporter of local riders  :'(

Sad news that the RAD shop is closing. Sorry I have to ask, but does anyone know if the pre orders that were taken for the reissue Haro plates will be honoured, or do we need to buy from elsewhere?

pre-ordered a FBM angle of death and thats getting honored , so i believe so, cant see dave taking your money and doing a runner.

sad news, all the best to dave  and the lads, shop was proper fooking rad(no pun intended).Seems like everything good in bmx has gone over the last couple years , ride uk, dig , Albion , bmxcity and now rad :(

It's not an even playing field in retail anymore.
Unfortunately, it's driven by price, not service and there are plenty of faceless tax avoiding entities selling very cheap items online with little or no overheads and these bargains are quickly broadcast on forums and social media.
I know a bloke who went into a running specialist, spent half an hour getting really good advice and using the shops fitting/analysis equipment to get the right shoe for him, he then went outside to his car and bought them from a faceless, shop less warehouse using google shopping - he was very pleased with himself for saving less than a tenner on a £100 pair of sneaks.....Cunts trick
Dave, I've been where you are, very recently. The easiest decisions when you look at the facts and figures are always the hardest to make and implement when you are passionate and have invested money and emotion in something. I promise you though, that you are doing the right thing, it will only get worse. The deep sadness does subside.
Good luck in whatever you have lined up mate :)
Whats the matter Kid, don't ya like clowns? Don't we make you laugh? Aint we fukkin funny?

No money had changed hands. Dave was asking for interest to gauge numbers when ordering the plates. Never heard anything back, so am presuming these have gone for a burton  :'(
