They do the job , still have an old school look to them and they look good imo . If i was planning on entering a show and shine competition then yes they would have to go , along with the re pop grips and tyres ...... but im not . Bearing in mind this will probably get on 10 or so rides a year and a few trips up to Coppull track etc i wanted something with sealed bearings and a bit of reliability If i get the chance to grab some PC cranks at some point i'll consider swapping them over but tbh there's no other cranks i would want to put on it
life should be about riding not bolt counting
I still remember the sound of Adam's Hutch pedal and redline crank arm hitting Oxford street as the single bolt had decided to come undone and release itself in the gutter somewhere Nowt wrong with 2 bolts on a rider
