Scanning decals
« on: June 14, 2015, 03:21 PM »
I'm in the process of removing some decals ready for scanning for Del to work is magic and was wondering what best method was for preparing for scanning?  Do I stick them to white card? clear plastic sheet?  Any thoughts?

I normally just send the decals straight to Del & let him sort it out Bert

I've done both. One set I stuck onto a white piece of paper before scanning, the others I just sent to him. I seem to recall that if you're scanning them yourself, they must be at least 600dpi resolution. Don't forget to give him the exact dimensions of the decals too  :daumenhoch:
