This just falls into the category as it's an 1980 frame.

Always loved the chrome and black mix, this is how it's looking so far

I thought 'pre-1980' meant up to and including 1979?

careful Rob, you know how contentious date classifications are :teef:

Same here, I always thought that the work 'pre' meant before, so pre 1980 would be before 1980 i.e. 1979 and earlier.

But hey Rob's dictionary 'pre' means 'same as'    :LolLolLolLol:

Very nice, you sure that's a Senior though as although fabrication of that particular model started in late 1980, it wasn't released until Spring 1981.

Looks like it could be a Pro, aka 'large pro' which ran from 1979 to early 1981  :daumenhoch:

If you measure the rear dropouts and they're approx 3mm, then it's a Pro 'large' :)
Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.

not yet Dan, working on finding a nice set of wheels for it and then it'll basically be finished.  I need to polish up the rusty pedals I have and get a nice chain but it's sitting on the shelf in my shed at the mo  :)
