Bleach or peroxide would be my first thoughts  :daumenhoch:

Yep that would probably yield good results too, though if there is any flat, shiney sections of the seat it probably would lose its shine

Just try a strong mix of bleach and scrub it. Don't leave it in the bleach as it will turn yellow. Give it a good rinse after.  :)
I have also done a white kashi aero in the dishwasher (NB low temp setting and don't use a salt tablet - just water), this can also get ground out dirt removed. I love a dishwasher for cleaning parts. Must be the pressure. :)
Both have worked for me.  :daumenhoch:

Cheers Bmx1973 just not sure if anything will lift the marks off the seat ets maybe best dyed black as the whole seat looks an ivory colour would never come up bright white again.
