80's BMX chains.....
« on: May 13, 2015, 08:28 AM »
Guys, I am trying to find out if the US produced a Bicycle/BMX chain in the 80's, or if they relied on them from Italy, France, Taiwan and Japan.

I know brands like Izumi, D.I.D, Sedis, KMC and Regina were all produced in other countries but, did the US have a USA made chain  ???

All help is grateful, thanks  :)

Don't know for certain but acme roller bearing chain or Titus may be worth investigating
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

It appears Clint, that Acme did make chains back in the 80's but.........the chances of finding one is going to be very very very very very very very difficult.

Did I say very? I mean very difficult  ;D

I did however get this back email today from Diamond, to clarify things....

"Hi Terry,

Thanks for your enquiry, however, unfortunately we do not manufacture these chains.

Best Regards,

Mark Griffiths
The Diamond Chain Company"
