Ive got a NOS sugino stem (Kuwie ET type) in really good shape but its in blue. Am looking to get it anodised to the proper mat black to go onto an ET original. Note, anodised not painted!!
Can anyone sort this for me? PM me

i'd say remove with oven pride and then send the piece to Jay ("anodiser_chick" she makes ally sexy) http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,177446.0.html , seems she's pretty good wit this sorta stuff

cheap primer and spray paint off ebay .

Use caustic soda instead of oven pride.

if you are going to send it to Jay then dont remove the anno, let her remove it and do all the prep, you will get a better result that way

As above Jay will provide a complete service, and i wouldnt risk making it more difficult by attempting to help.
Her work is outstanding. You won't be disappointed and her prices are good too.
