I intially thought MBK MX400 but it ain't the same .

How many holes has it behind the seat post ??   Gussett on yours is welded low , on the MBK in the link it looks like it is welded higher  :-\

Think it's got 3 holes Joff.... ones tucked under the seat clamp. Looks like the seat post's been chopped down though.  Apart from that looks the same to me.  :daumenhoch:

Possibly Nick  :-\  Very similar to the one in your first link (bigdog's old one) but not the same as Ronnie 'ronsters' in the other link ...

Gussett plate is welded higher and runs past the seat post tube , it might on this (hidden by seat clamp ?)  ... we need better pics ;)

early Motobecane MX400, not original forks though, Ronster's one is later version with different gusset and headtube gusset  :daumenhoch:

Me too Nick, it looks more like a freestyle frame to me. I wouldn't mind doing a freestyle build using the frameset!

Yeah, that was a bargain!! One of the most underrated frames going I reckon. French design flair with some old school racing heritage. & I love the low slung top tube.

Look forward to seeing this one scrubbed up and brought back to its former glory! :daumenhoch:

It's deffo got 3 holes in that rear gusset, you can see the pedal through it on the second pic.

Looks like the seat tube has been cut down a bit as others have said.....
