I love mine ... A great starter frame and forks to get your build skills up to speed on  ...
I remembered the adverts from BITD...
I'm finally riding mine at Chester on Saturday after several changes over the years and it being a carpet queen ..

The only thing to worry about is the non-standard seatpost tube but I used a powder coated one and it fits fine ... Most people get a shim to fill in the gap and someone here on rad may have one lurking somewhere if you ask nicely  :daumenhoch:

If the weather stays good I'll get some piccies of mine posted up before the Chester ride  8)

I don't know too much about the brand, apart from they used to make gloves/ race pants/jerseys.... but from what I have read......The aero Reflex came to the freestyle market very late (85/86??)  and was quite expensive for what it was ( basically another Performer copy) and a bit dated at a time when frame development was moving direction fast. It is a nice quality frameset just wasn't popular back in the day because of the aforementioned reasons. As a result loads were left over and sold off cheap when bmx kinda died in the mainstream giving the impression it was a low end frameset when it actually wasn't. If you have big feet they have a habit of catching on the rear framestanders! They come about often enough for sale if you were looking to buy one!  :daumenhoch:

Yeah I've been warned about the  framestanders  too! I'll give you my verdict after Saturday !  :LolLolLolLol:
I think it copied the GT Pro-performer heavily ....
I'm sure they are many Radster that have got or at one time owned one.
I think the market price is about £200 for a NOS one.
Not bad for a brand new in the box Chrome f and f ... But...
I'm sure many Radsters also got theirs for £40 when that first big glut was found about ten years ago !

I rode mine for the fist time in anger on the Chester ride. Apart from it trying to take the vans off my feet with the frame standers, it rode really well. I'm really chuffed with it.

A few years ago these were all over ebay for sale? I think it was Allans that sold a shed load of them off at about £30 a pop!  they came complete in their original boxes with decal sets and the shim for the seat tube  :)  yes I believe they are quite a decent f+f set by all account but I'm amazed when I see people asking £200 for them now  :idiot2: (they obviously bought a few sets back then  ;))

Was the frame standers really bad?

Not too bad. You just need to remember they are there. Also it all depends on how big your feet are.

The framestanders weren't too bad to fair .... I think smaller SX pedsls helped ... It was the bleeding coaster brake that got on my pancakes late in after a couple of sherbets!  :tickedoff:
