I love BMX to bits but i can think of a hell of a lot more things i would throw £4k at before a set of BMX hubs landed on the mat !

My initial thoughts were they are probably Hattie Jacques, and at potentially 4k a set it would be well worth someone's time.  :-\

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

fakes

There's no way anybody's gonna knock up a set and sell them for $275 b.i.n

I've had a few sets in pieces over the years and they're far too complicated in their manufacture to repro them for anywhere near that price and make a profit.

I know a 'NOS' set of black Gen 1 SSTs without the packaging went to OZ for $10K last year. Holy grail hubs without a doubt.

I don't think they are fakes lol

I was explaining the term hattie jakes , which is a rhythm of the cockney for fakes

I agree they are pretty hard to fake

They look far to complex to fake ....
And people pay thousands for them ?  :crazy2:
I'm more excited by a re-issue unitron to be fair ...
I don't think I'd ever get that excited by a pair of hubs .. However rare they maybe ?  Thumbs down
