Which brake blocks?
« on: March 20, 2015, 11:10 AM »
Looking for brake blocks for my cruiser build, need to look old school but don't necessarily have to be OG
Important thing is I'm only running one brake, so they need to work! (on alloy rims)

Any recommendations? So far these are looking like my best bet http://www.porkchopbmx.com/Dia-Compe-reissue-old-school-BMX-bicycle-brake-pad-PAIR-SALMON-1007632.htm

Thanks Joff/Rich  :daumenhoch: salmon pads would be perfect - certainly better than the repops :)
Whoever manages to dig up a set first please pm me your paypals and let me know how much innit

Always liked the Dia compe tan pads for Wire wheels. Seem to work well. If they are NOS ones very lightly sand the shiney surface off.  :)
Also the old black DC pads which I think came on Nippons! They are pretty good on Tuffs.  :-\
