Mongoose Bottom Brackets are 28 tpi.

So what are the Fork thread then?

Fork threads aren't any different to any other old school fork thread  :daumenhoch:  I think they are 24tpi . defo not 28 anyway  :D

So I don't need a Mongoose one then. I can just use a standard 1" Tioga Beartrap.  :-\  :)

Same thread its just some have mongoose stamped on the top nut instead of Tange etc  :daumenhoch:

Any 1" threaded BMX headset will work mate , Tioga , Hatta , Tange etc or a mongoose stamped one  :daumenhoch:

All these years I've had Mongoose and sort a Mongoose Headset thinking the threads were different. Why didn't I just try a normal nut! :-[ :uglystupid2: That makes things a lot easier than sourcing an over priced Mongoose stamped one. Thanks chaps/es.  :daumenhoch:
