Beautiful TA  :smitten:

So, from mint to OG.  May as well throw in my Dirt Bros TA.  This is an original Dirt Bros complete (rather than a stickered up TA) from the States, and has come to me via a few guys on here.  Totally original until I changed the front Peregrine for an OG 80's Tuff and the front caliper.  Dan Harris changed the sprocket to an original Dirt Bros, and I had to bin the tyres as they were shot to sh1t.  Other than those bits, it's as it was being ridden BITD.

83 TA XL frame
Haro forks
Peregrine rear, 80's tuff front
Elina LB seat
Shimano DX
Hoffman/Bully? bars
DC 880/901
GT stem and post
Dirt Bros chainwheel
Jive grips

If you've been following this long winded build you'll have read that I happened to visit the bike shop on the day they closed down. Because of that I wanted to make this a little tribute build and built a custom Laserlite like it may have been assembled by a bunch of roadies for a lucky kid whose folks had a little more buying power than most in 1983.

1983 Kuwahara Laserlite KZ-3 oval tube Frame and Fork
Tange MX-125 headset
Hanabishi CR-MO three piece cranks with original BB
MKS BM-15 pedals
Suntour Silver Arrow seat clamp
Selle San Marco Concor Supercorsa saddle
WIN V-bars
WIN hinged stem
Suzue sealed bearing hubs
Asashi spokes
UKAI Speedline rims
Dia-Compe two finger lever
Dia-Compe DC 890 caliper
Tioga Comp III tyres
Ame Tri grips - cos I had them and wanted to finish this bike finally!

It was removed because I posted on April 1st, rather than in March. I need to re-enter it April BOTM instead., but I won't.

Rules below - if you re-jig them for individuals then it's not really fair on other entrants.

Shame you won't enter it in next months as I thought it was a cool build,  but that's your prerogative.

1. Maximum of 4 pictures, list parts if you feel like it or any history to the build
2. Bike should've been completed within a month of entry
3. Entry to BOTM will close at the end of every calender month
4. Voting will open as close to 1st of the next month as we can get and will run for 7 days
5. If we have joint winners then we will run a 3 day vote off for the outright winner
6. Each months winner will go into the BOTY vote off
