Quote from: adigraham on March 06, 2015, 07:34 PMCensus says they suck!Ideally want tuffs for my 83 ta!They do suck! you need to sell the tuffs you have and go for a proper alloy hubbed set. There are plenty about in black if thatds the colour you have
AAAAAH! the holy grail of mags.....a pair of white alloy hub tuffs that are actually white....and with no stress cracks round the hub!! I literally bought a set last week, they are not white...a bit creamy but have NO cracks. My last set were quite beige and had the usual stress cracks. You will pay double what a black set cost! It all depends on how anal you are about era correctness or just correctness.
I have nearly started crying!I never had a bmx as a child as too much money, the skyway ta owner was a guy from the bottom of my road who could wheelie for over a mile!I promised myself I would build one, taking ages to get the parts let alone the wheels! How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?Quote from: deeman on March 17, 2015, 03:35 PMAAAAAH! the holy grail of mags.....a pair of white alloy hub tuffs that are actually white....and with no stress cracks round the hub!!
