Are the uni alloy seat posts with the strengthening bar through the middle a stronger post than say a Renthal, back in the early 80's I never rated their UNI seats, plenty snapped like rich tea biscuits.

Can't help you with an answer but will bump this up as I'm also keen to know since I keep thinking about getting Uni posts and/or seats for some of my builds! :daumenhoch:  Has anyone therefore got any thoughts on this?
