Haro Monocoque
« on: November 30, 2015, 09:09 PM »
I first saw on of these at the Brighton worlds in 1996 and always wanted one.  :smitten:

This frame came up cheap & I've kept it stashed until now, the urge to ride it has got me building it up.

Won't be a minter, just hope it doesn't disappoint.  :daumenhoch:

I said 'machine, why are we here?'
And it paused and said 'to play video games and drink beer'

Wheels done, ish.

Front needs a bit more tension, hubs from Bfellows, tyres from my loft.

Trying to do it cheaply, prices have moved on a bit since I last built something vaguely old.

Managed to finish building it today.  :)

Not 100% sure on seat and stem, but it was supposed to be done on the cheap.  ::)

Nice bud! I can see what youre saying about the stem and seat but in my opinion its a more interesting build that way. But if you want shot of that redneck, give me a shout. I have a long reach polished dk top loader if you want to try that out instead.
