Hi,
I had a BMX in the 80's but cant remember what make it was. Can anyone help? It had a chrome frame with teardrop lower frame, chrome handlebars that were level across the top, polished wheels with drilled holes in the rim between the spokes, and it had a seat tube that was curved back with a support on. I do remember that it had red and blue lettering on the frame, but I removed these to leave it chrome. the letters were individual stickers too.
I later added some black Skyway mags, and some green mushroom grips......so just need to find out what it was!?

Can't help you with the frame id mate but the bars would have been CW or copies of CW and the wheels were ProClass if they were drilled in between the spokes
The seatpost was a braced layback and there were plenty of generic ones but I think again CW made the original, so it depends if it was a budget bike or cost your parents half their life savi gs to buy
If the frame only had one teardrop tube someone should be able to help, especially if the stickers were individual letters

As Spen said and to add I had a chrome teardrop frame and it was a high street shop bought Aero. There are others too who carried a teardrop downtube. Have a gander through the Museum portion of this site to see if the decals ignite the 80s in your brain
By the way

Sounds like a CW bike with Mongoose Pro Class Wheels, to me as well.
Pictures would help as someone would know.

Finally, after many years searching I found my bike, well a nearly identical one. purchased it a couple of years ago, and have got it to how i remember in the 80's. Akiso framed MX-14 Interceptor. Never seen another.
