Nice one Patric Maybe there is a reason behind it but why didn't you remove the whole seat post to the bottom bracket and replace it all like Andy had done on his vdc?The main thing is the frame lives to see another day instead of going on the scrap heap What's the plans for it mate ?

Because hè told me by the temperature of THE alloy welding the BB could be damaged.Crimping and deforming of the bb So i choose to take no risk Plans are THE questions Painting or coating What do you think Joff.
Nice save Patric Powder if you're gonna ride itPaint if its a show pony
Yes but what do you think...Painting or powder coating ... Coating is à bit thicker in layer , so iT cover THE welds more
Leave it raw, it's been repaired so what gives it character. It also keeps it honest, that is, somewhere down the line some poor sod won't pay top wack if it's sold on.
i'd go powder in baby blue with brown forks It is what it is and no amount of powder will hide that weld but at least it won't be so in your face
Big bobbles , no troubles , just cut that seatpost Senzo. Nice job.
