Plating for the frame and forks was only $300 (AUS), including stripping the show chrome that was already on it and a buffed wax coating to prevent oxidisation.
It did cost more than that to get it there and back safely and quickly though.
Here's a reminder of how I originally got the frame and forks, two years ago....
