In case anyone's forgotten the rules, here they are again  :daumenhoch:

1. Maximum of 4 pictures, list parts if you feel like it or any history to the build
2. Bike should've been completed within a month of entry
3. Entry to BOTM will close at the end of every calender month
4. Voting will open as close to 1st of the next month as we can get and will run for 7 days
5. If we have joint winners then we will run a 3 day vote off for the outright winner
6. Each months winner will go into the BOTY vote off

Hi. I've only been back into bmx bikes after a 27 year gap. This is my 1st ever build from scratch. It's a Diamond Back Assult 1990. I have put a number plate on for my Charity ride out (Bham Sands Ride). It has a DB stem and OPC. Blue Panaracer tyres, DIA Compe brake lever and calliper, porkchop chainring, bmx works pedals, Ame grips, Sugino spider and bolts, Skyway tuff 2 wheels, Landar locking  nut,  Line 2000 seat and a DIA compe seat clamp.Paint job by Paul Jackson thanks Paul.  I know most parts are not original but I just wanted to build a nice looking bike for my first build. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Chris...No idea why my pictures are upside down sorry

I'll throw this in, it's a bike I've had for about 4 years, but today it's had a strip down, clean, regrease and rebuild - with some new parts added.

1984 Mongoose Supergoose 3 (Ammaco UK model)

Mongoose/Ammaco frame and forks (survivor)
Mongoose stamped headset (survivor)
OG SR MS-422 stem (survivor)
Renthal bars (survivor)
used A'me Duals
Mongoose Pro Class rims (survivor)
Suzue LF hubs (survivor)
Asahi spokes
Mongoose stamped 28tpi BB (survivor)
Mongoose stamped 1 piece crank (survivor)
Mongoose stamped spider (survivor)
SR pedals
DC hinged MX seat clamp
Kashi Aero
Renthal seat post (survivor)
DC MX900 caliper (survivor)
DC Tech 3 lever (survivor)
Repop pad set
Scotty's valve caps.

All parts labelled survivor are original, as from the factory that came fitted to this bike - just cleaned.

The stem base and chainring are too original, just given the SBD treatment, as they were so bad.

The replaced parts were done so as the OG ones were beyond repair.

Not expecting any votes but good to keep the numbers up....

Bought the frame after a deal on the museum for a knackered Street Styler F&F fell through. This one went round a few times on ebay with no buys so offered low and won. Turned out to be from September '85 which must be one of the earliest around. Remember them coming out and liking the bent forks and the chunky looking tubing. Was expecting to give it the full bath and polish treatment or send it to SBD for powder but a quick rub with an oily rag and I loved the survivor look, hardly any rust anywhere. Most of the rest has come from people here.

F&F - Dyno Compe D-30 (survivor)
GT Freestyle Bars
Ame Cams
Dyno polished stem
New Tuff II with Kool Kaps
1pc, Victor Pedals PPP Chainring & Disc
GT laidback seatpost and Dyno seat
Rightwayup headset
Cheap copy brakes.
