1994 GT Performer!
« on: February 04, 2015, 02:45 PM »
Woo hoo! It arrived today, (relatively) fresh from America :D It's in better condition than I thought it'd be too.

There's a little rust on the bars but nothing too worrying, I'd like some GT 4 piece or kneesavers to go on this anyway, and then I can put these bars on the Fueler behind it-

Even the Pitbull refuses to work properly, just like BITD :2funny:

Ta for the replies! I'm confused by the forks though, I'm sure they should be chrome with different graphics, according to the 1994 catalogue anyway, but a bit of googling Vertigos and Performers throws up a mix and match of all sorts of stuff. 5 spoke ACS Z-mags instead of the standard 3 spoke ACS/GT mags as well- lucky I prefer the look of 5 spokers!

I know my chrome 1994 Vertigo BITD had the same stickers on the forks and it did my head in cos one GT faces forward and the other faces backwards! Aaaaargh! :crazy2:

I dunno what to do with it. I'm not going to touch the paint, and everything's pretty much original or as it would have been BITD, it's even got the standard GT grips and tyres on.

Yeah - looks spot on. Only thing I'd do is slap a 3 piece crank on and ride it  :daumenhoch:
