Decal Positioning query!!!

Rite guy's am wondering what is the correct distance for the position of the decals on a GT PRO all would be grateful. :daumenhoch:

Looking at my OG frames, the last thing they used to measure where the decal went was a ruler!

Just don't put them lower than half way as the chain ring and crank arms will obscure them. Looking at the 84 advert they are smack in the middle of the down tube.

Do you honestly think they measured them back in the 80's?  I'm sure they just put them on by eye

Not at all mate, I don't think for a minute that any of the minimum wage paid workers in a bike factory particularly gave a toss how exact their decals were, that was my point and it is reflected in the decals that are on my OG GT frames.
