That's the saddest story mate. When my nan died she told my dad to buy me and my sis one thing each we wanted.. I got the GT full custom spec, flights, shim dx, coaster tuffs, pro neck stem, performer bars, gt logo tyres, mx 1000's tech 3's, Elina lightning bolt seat, gt layback, jam buttie seat clamp, the works. Had the bike in the boot of my car and some bastard stole the car and burnt it out! Would love 10 mins in a locked room with the fooker that did it!

Wish I had more pics and more life left in the body to keep riding. Spine X-ray this morning (injury picked up at Wakefield 540 on vert went very wrong! Got to 360 at re-entry and back wheel hit coping. 12' to flat bottom on my spine 20 years ago) that and referral to knee surgeon (ACL and MCL are knackered and caused a load of damage inside the joint) get them sorted and I'll be ripping up the little park round the corner on the S&M! Yeah baby! Get some! Lololololololol old riders never die! We just go a wee bit senile and forget shit from all the head trauma's

Great pics and a bit of a sad end to the story (your nan dying, buying the bike then it being in the boot of your car that got nicked), hopefully you will be able to recreate what you once had as a tribute to your nan and to poke two fingers up at the thieving shuffle munsterers that stole your car

Thanks man. Yeah would be good but I've seen the prices of original performers on eBay! Jeeez they are pricey. When I got that one imported it was £189 for the frame and forks. I've seen them upward of a grand now. I will console myself with Eleanor now. She was my second love and the only other ride that captured my soul.
