Quietest pads

I'm not good enough to ride brakeless so can anyone recommend fairly quiet pads?

Currently using Xposure on Cinema rims.

all pads will squeal if they're not setup right.  gotta make sure the fronts hit first

No the school...

Noisy pads can work well for clearing a path through busy crowds, always found that clear pads on tuffs worked great - saved having a bell

oddy Ghost pads are ok , black ones , not tried the clear ones ,  already shaped for toe in , but i found they will squeek a bit when you pull up on the brake real hard ,  cured by taking a little bit more off the toe in shape with a file though ,  .


the toe in on soft  pads needs to be quite big 3-4 mm , as the soft compound will compress under breaking , and eliminate the toe in gap.

i did nt think any modern pads squealed . seems you are the exception  . exposure are kinda like blank and sc to . kinda poo.

got to be the best interpretation of a reply i've seen    should i of mentioned the clear ones can be quite sticky aswell

JONBOY likin' this thread. I wondered if clear pads work on tuffs. I've got a colour skyway don't make pads for anymore. Might give it a wizz.

To set toe in easily two ways.
Put credit cards under each pad at the back and pull hard to set blocks on rim.

I've just seen someone wrapping rubber bands around instead.

Despite all this my quad rears fekkin squeeel like a peeeeg

The new skyway pads are quiet, it's not surprising though as they resemble two stick of chalk in appearance, stopping power and durability
