 "help"

Hi guys
i'm new to this old school and restoration game and i'm purchasing a 1979 thruster vanishing point and i am wondering what builds others had gone with?
As i have found varying builds and i can't find a standard build to work from
cheers

The hunt for parts is all part of the fun! It took me about 9 months to get my Laserlite on the road and 4 months later, it's still not the finished article! ;D My advice would be to take your time, do your research, ask questions, keep your eyes peeled and eventually you'll be sorted! A VP's a great choice by the way - I nearly got one this year - so look forward to seeing your build thread!  :daumenhoch:

I am pretty sure the VP only came in Chrome or White.

The signature models (Timmy Judge, Ferdie Garcia & Jamie Burroughs replicas), came in chrome, white, red, blue.

That is from my limited knowledge of all things Thruster and if I am wrong somebody will be along soon to tell me  :LolLolLolLol:

Not getting frameset till new year but i believe the vanishing points were only available in either chrome or white so not sure whether to with one of them or get a custom paint job

Build how you want, they are lovely frame. Mine is shown below post a SBD powder, but must get some more recent pics of it up, nearly finished.

NOS bars, and they are a difficult find, good luck with your build and as it is your first one it will be the one you remember building most (mine was a KZ3).
